BCSA member Shufflebottom secures double manufacturing award win

Steel-framed building manufacturer and BCSA member Shufflebottom has secured two manufacturing awards in 2026 – its 40th anniversary year – winning at both the Carmarthenshire Business Awards and Insider’s Made in Wales Awards.

The company was named Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Carmarthenshire awards in July and Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m) at the Made in Wales Awards on 1 October.

Its Made in Wales success has also qualified Shufflebottom for the Made in the UK Awards, where it will compete as a finalist in Manchester in November.

From its manufacturing base in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, Shufflebottom designs, manufactures and supplies bespoke steel-framed buildings for projects across the UK. Its work spans industrial, commercial, agricultural and equestrian buildings, with specifications developed around the intended use and each customer’s requirements.

The awards recognise the manufacturing business, with Shufflebottom crediting the combined contribution of its technical, production and customer-facing teams.
